2018 will be the Year of Music at Saint Paul’s UMC, with special musical guests in worship services monthly, as well as a free concert series. We hope that the Year of Music will help to inspire us and open our spirits to God in the very special way that music can do. We also hope that the beautiful music in worship and weekend concerts will provide opportunities for us to invite friends to experience musical inspiration at Saint Paul’s UMC. So, mark your calendars, make plans to attend, and bring a friend with you to share in the joy!

Concert 1: Hymnus Angelicus, Lenten Vespers
Sunday, March 4, 2018 at 4:00 pm
Let your spirit soar with the fourteen soaring voices and beautiful instruments of Hymnus Angelicus as they lead us in Lenten Vespers, including two cantatas, the reading of Scripture, and congregational song.
Lenten Vespers will call our hearts to quiet, peaceful, and powerful Lenten reflection.
Concert 2: Don Irwin, piano
Saturday, April 28, 2018 at 7:00 pm
Join us for a spiritually moving and joy-filled piano concert. Don is a classically trained pianist, performing a wide, varied repertoire of different styles of music. His virtuosic skill will amaze, energize, and inspire us!
The 2018 Year of Music is funded through memorial gifts to Saint Paul’s UMC. Thank you to all who made memorial gifts that remember our saints with the gift of music!
