UMW Circles

United Methodist Women circles meet monthly for fellowship, discussion, study, and planning.

UPDATE:  Recently the Ruth Circle and Rebekah Circle have merged and their combined name is now called the Hannah Circle.

Hannah Circle is a happy, relaxed group that meets on the third Wednesday of each month, September through May.  They meet at the Church at 1:00 pm.  We learn what is happening in the larger United Methodist Women organization, spend a few for devotions and a discussion about a current topic using The Upper Room devotional guide and other resources, then gather in the Fellowship Hall for our lunch and fellowship.

Rachel Circle meets the third Monday of the month at 7:00 p.m., September through May, sometimes at church but location may vary. Discussion topics have included education, women as caregivers, women of the Bible, forgiveness, discrimination, and other social action topics. Rachel Circle has provided financial support to young girls in India who attend a United Methodist school, and has also supported a program in Cambodia to help keep girls in school and out of the trafficking trade. Topics and programs vary every year according to the wishes of the circle members.
